LUCY

This month, I find myself in a different town. I miss my house in the countryside, because I am living in a small apartment. These days I'm walking to work, which is a change from my usual routine. I am having lunch quite late in the afternoon, because of my timetable at the restaurant where I work as a waitress. It's very different from my usual life back home. I am wearing a uniform, and my evenings are spent washing dishes. It's challenging, but it's also an exciting adventure full of new experiences and personal growth.

Right now, I am sitting on a bench in the park opposite the restaurant. There are people of all ages enjoying this beautiful day. The sun is shining and children are playing hide-and-seek. A group of friends is having a picnic under an oak tree, sharing food and stories. A few families are flying kites, with their colourful tails dancing in the air. Cyclists are riding their bikes along the paths, and a group of runners are jogging by. A couple is sitting by the pond, feeding the ducks, while others are reading books on nearby benches. Some folks are having a drink, and a small group is playing footbal. Some other people are eating an ice-cream.

And guess, what am I doing? Well, I am listening to music and watching people in the park.
