Pronunciation: ED in Regular Verbs
You have just learned that we add ED to the base of regular verbs to form the Past Simple.
When speaking, the "ED" of the Past Simple form is pronounced in three different ways:
- /id/ - Visit-Visited
- /t/ - Work-Worked
- /d/ - Play-Played
