Let's Go

General Information

The Final Outcome will be an interactive presentation in Genially, which will include a podcast of your oral description, and a written text along with images. This final product will be focused on giving a detailed description of a person's physical appearance, personality and clothes.

In order to achieve your goal, you will complete different activities that will help you gain knowledge and acquire strategies to prepare and publish your presentation. There will be individual and team-work tasks. You will learn with your teacher's explanations, self-investigation and interaction with your partners.

It is very important that you read carefully and follow all the instructions given in each activity, using the Internet and the links as a source of information.

El Producto Final consistirá en una presentación en Genially en la que incluirás un Podcast con tu descripción oral y un texto escrito acompañado de imágenes. Todo girará en torno a la descripción detallada del físico, la personalidad y la ropa de una persona.

Para llegar a tu objetivo, tendrás que completar varias actividades con las que irás adquiriendo el conocimiento y las estrategias necesarias para realizar y publicar tu producto final. Habrá tareas individuales y en grupo. Aprenderás de las explicaciones de tu profesor, de tus propias investigaciones y de la interacción con tus compañeros.

Es muy importante que leas las instrucciones con sumo cuidado, utilizando Internet y los enlaces que te iremos facilitando como fuente de información.

Objetives

By the end of this challenge, you will be able to:

  • Ask questions about someone’s physical appearance.
  • Ask questions about someone’s personality.
  • Ask questions about the clothes someone's wearing.
  • Describe someone's physical appearance, personality and clothes.
  • Use appropriate nouns, adjectives and verbs.

  • preguntas por le físico, el carácter o la ropa que lleva puesta alguien.
  • describir el físico, personalidad y ropa de alguien.
  • utilizar los sustantivos, adjetivos y verbos adecuados para hacer una descripción.

Assessment

This project will be evaluated following this pattern:

The Tasks will be evaluated according to their Checklists or Rubrics. The Final Product will be assessed following the criteria in its specific final Rubric. Collaborative teamwork will also be evaluated all throughout the process, and students will self-evaluate their progress through their Learning Diary.

Licenses

When you have finished your final product, you will have to assign a license to it. You can find important information about licenses in the following document:

If you finally decide on a CC BY-SA license by Creative Commons, paste this icon  CC BY-SA in every piece of work you do and share. It means that "credit must be given to the creator" (BY) and "Adaptations must be shared under the same terms" (SA).

Cybersecurity

You should also take into account that, in order to make your final product and its subsequent dissemination, you will have to surf the internet, use or download external applications, etc. Your work must be carried out in a safe environment. Here are some recommendations on cybersecurity that you should observe:

Cuando acabes tu producto final, antes de su difusión, tendrás que asignarle una "Licencia de Uso". Encontrarás información acerca de las distintas licencias en el documento Licencias Digitales (haz click). Si finalmente decides asignarle una licencia "CC BY-SA" de Creative Commons, pega este icono  en cada trabajo que hagas y/o compartas. Con esta licencia, quien utilice tu trabajo debe nombrarte como autor y asignarle la misma licencia que tú le has asignado.

En cuanto a la seguridad, ten en cuenta que vas a navegar por internet, descargar y trabajar con apps de terceros, etc. Debes hacer tu trabajo en un entorno seguro. En el documento Recomendaciones Ciberseguridad (haz click) te dejo unos consejos para que reflexiones.

My Learning Diary

Throughout the project, your teacher will ask you to answer questions about the section you are working on. You will have to write down the answers to these questions in your Learning Diary, a text document that you can download here (Learning Diary). As you write in it, you will be aware of how you are progressing and what skills you are acquiring.

You can download the text document, complete and save in your device, or print and write down your answers by hand. In both cases, you will have to send your Diary to your teacher in ".PDF" format. Convert your file using an online converter, such as online-convert (click).

To start with, write the answers to these questions in your Diary.

1. With what digital tool will you have to present your "Final Product"?

2. Do you understand in which order you will do the activities?                                                                            

3. Do you understand the different existing types of user licenses?

4. What license are you going to assign to your “Final Product”?

A lo largo del proyecto tu profesor te pedirá que respondas a una serie de preguntas sobre la sección en la que estés trabajando. Tendrás que escribir las respuestas en tu Diario de Aprendizaje, un documento de texto que puedes descargar aquí (Diario de Aprendizaje) (click). A medida que vayas escribiendo en tu diario, serás consciente de cómo vas progresando y qué destrezas vas adquiriendo.

Puedes descargarte el documento de texto, completarlo y guardarlo en tu dispositivo, o imprimirlo y anotar tus respuestas a mano. En ambos casos, tendrás que enviar tu Diario a tu profesor en formato ".PDF". Puedes usar un conversor online como online-convert (click).
